Aww i was hoping to log in by now everything pointed to a 5pm launch but alas it says the version isnt right for tranquility and no auto updater appeared  I guess ill wait till later then. any other places i could egt the update over the eve updater?

Yeah so did i but i have the Alliance tourny to watch on youtube while i wait for CCP to stick the patch up

I believe the idea of the pod is that it is a "mind-link" medium for the character to interact directly with the ships control systems and excape system. As the capsuleer pilot is a heavily invested in individual, compared to the rest of the ships crew (if any). I like to think of the captain/pilot/capsuleer is "hardwired" either wirelessly or with wires, to the ship, but there is a captains chair, bridge, etc. And that in the event of ship destruction, an emergency system is activated that encloses the captains chair in the pod and is ejected.
I do not believe there is any lore in the past that stated that characters can not leave their pods.
I have personally belived that my avatar commands his crew from the bridge of my ships and in a event of imminent destruction ejects in the escape pod. I dont like the idea of being neurally linked i prefer a nice captains seat.

Hey if this works with stations perhaps planets? i would enjoy visiting the Gallente homeworld and capital city.

You people are even funnier on the forums than in the game.
My advice: Relax, take a walk, or even a night without EVE. The universe wont selfdestruct if you don't log in for a few hours, you know...
Or play CNC4 and blow stuff up

And finally after god knows how long i can type in the forums after it forgets i actually have a character anyway love the retracting guns but ive waited all day for this to go live and now im looking forward to EVE before colleg in the morning.
Ah well could be worse huh got some other stuff done anyway like actually do my FNV Explosives playthrough (No freezing yet hope it stays that way)
